Hundreds Attend NJ Barnstorms
National Nurses United sponsored barnstorms in the New Jersey cities of Long Branch, New Brunswick, Cherry Hill, and Bridgewater from Feb 9-14 as part of their Medicare for All National Week of Action.
We thank Our Revolution Monmouth County, South Jersey Women for Progressive Change, Central Jersey DSA, Our Revolution Somerset County, and NJUHC for stepping up to help organize and host these events.
Hundreds of activists attended the events and dozens committed to lead canvasses aimed at getting their local Members of Congress to sign onto the new Medicare for All bill, HR 1384.
Our Revolution Essex County organized a Medicare for All forum on Feb 10 in Montclair that was also part of NNU’s National Week of Action. A recording of the forum is here. A recording of the New Brunswick barnstorm is here and photos are here. A recording of the Cherry Hill barnstorm is here. Blue Jersey recorded all events.
