Premiere of American Hospitals
We are excited to invite you to the premiere of a new documentary entitled American Hospitals, a provocative look at the cost and inequities of American hospitals, from the makers of Fix It: Healthcare at the Tipping Point. We are teaming up with Our Revolution’s Monmouth County chapter to bring this viewing to The ShowRoom Cinema in Asbury Park on Sunday April 30th beginning at 12 PM, followed by a panel discussion with the director of the film. General Membership Meeting
Save the date! Saturday June 3rd at 10:30 AM, we will be convening virtually through Zoom to discuss future organization efforts to win expanded and improved Medicare for All. We will be welcoming guest speaker Wendell Potter, President of the Center for Health and Democracy, and author of Deadly Spin: a behind the scenes look at the insurance industry showing a huge chunk of healthcare expenditures bankrolling a propaganda campaign and lobbying effort focused on protecting their profits.
